The artwork contest is now closed. Winners and submitted artwork are visible here.
Calling out to anyone with any graphic skills!
Your task, should you choose to accept it, is to create a piece of art that can be plastered on walls, bulletin boards, stickers, and web pages. The theme for 2010 is "high-tech". You may use black, white, and one additional color of your choosing (grayscale is ok).
BTW, this contest was inspired by the DefCon artwork contest that sees so much fantastic work every year.
Entries will be posted to http://www.cossfest.ca/contests/artwork/submissions for viewing and the peoples choice voting. Entries will be posted as they are submitted.
Submissions not fitting these criteria may be posted, but will not be considered for the contest. By submitting you grant COSSFEST the right to reproduce your artwork with reasonable attribution in any way we see fit without compensation. We reserve the right to NOT choose a winner in any/all categories.
Any medium may be used, as long as the final submission is in a specified digital format. If you use stock photos, art, etc., make sure it is either public domain or that you own the rights to it. The design must include the text "COSSFEST".
Submission Deadline: All submissions must be received before 1 February 2010.
Submit entries to: info@cossfest.ca
Submission Info to include: Your name (the name you'll be using to check in and collect your prize!), an email address we can contact you at, and a title and description of your piece.
