Planning for COSSFEST 2010 is well underway! It will be held on April 9th and 10th at the Coast Plaza Hotel and Conference Center. The format is similar to last year with some interesting additions.

• Friday/Saturday Pass - $75.00. ($65.00 if preregistered).
• Saturday Only Pass - $30.00. ($20.00 if preregistered).

What's new

The conference presentations will be similar to last year's format. However, we have added the following extras:

What we need from you

• Sponsors. We need help finding sponsors for the event. If you, your company, or a contact of yours would like to help out, take a look at the sponsors page (http://www.cossfest.ca/sponsors) and the sponsor packages (http://www.cossfest.ca/sponsorpackages). Or contact us at info@cossfest.ca if you have questions or need more detail.
• Speakers. While we have some speakers lined up, we still need more. Share your knowledge, pimp your F/OSS project, educate or entertain us. See our Call For Presentations (http://www.cossfest.ca/cfp) for more detail.
• Contests, workshops, and parties. We need people to run the contests, put on workshops, and plan the social events. If any of this sounds interesting to you, take a look at the Event Submissions page (http://www.cossfest.ca/eventsubmissions).

What next?

In the near future, we will have our marketing plan put together (we are working with a marketing company!) and things should start firming up. We have a possible lead on a significant sponsor, and should have more details next month. We'll be sending out a newsletter periodically (once a month or so) to keep you updated as things develop.
